BUSHCRAFT & SURVIVAL

1-DAY BASIC SURVIVAL WORKSHOP & WILDERNESS WEEKEND

At our wilderness 1-day workshops or 2-day wilderness weekends, we invite you as family, group of friends or single traveler to get an insight into self-sufficient bushcraft life and the skills and mindset it takes to survive and live within a natural environment.
Depending on your priorities, we'll focus on one or more bushcraft essentials like fire-making, shelter building, useful tools and how to use them effectively. We will also discuss things to consider, the right planning, mental and physical preparation as well as essentials to take with you on a trip into the backcountry.

It is an experience where everybody is not only invited to learn, but also to be creative and to put personal survival strategies, skills and ideas to a test.

During this workshop, you can tent in our rustic Canvas tents with wood stoves for a reduced rate.

This activity is also suitable as a teambuilding event for companies or groups of friends and families.

MAP & COMPASS: WILDERNESS NAVIGATION AND ORIENTATION TRAINING

You want to know everything necessary to take a trip into wild backcountry? No matter if you seek to explore the wildernesses of Alaska, Canada, Patagonia, New Zealand, Greenland, Australia or the hinterland of Austria, with these backcountry navigation and camping basics you'll have the foundation and orientation you need. Join and learn how to work with a compass, read maps, pack efficiently and act informed in backcountry terrain and in regards to wildlife.

The workshop is divided into two parts, a basic instruction and a field practice over the course of two days each, so you'd be able to participate in the training on two weekends.
NOTE: Completion of the basic instruction is required to participate in the field practice.

Upon completion you'll receive a certificate of training.
