Rafting the lower Salza is by far the roughest of our whitewater trips (WW III+) on the Salza. One rapid after another with only few stops garantuee an adrenaline laden ride from beginning til the end. Furthermore, the ride is characterized by stunning and breathtaking natural landscape: waterfalls, overgrown cliffs and rainforest like river forests to both sides of the wide and deep blue river are replaced by a unique & narrow canyon in the latter part of the trip. Breaks to jump from cliffs and explore side canyons included in the trip provide you with enough time to fully enjoy the natural bounty in-between exhilarating rapid rides. Due to its popularity there are more tour companies operating on the river than elsewhere, but its worth it. In contrast to most other outfitters, we’re going in small groups of 4 people max and extend the total trip time to 4-5 hours on the river (instead of 2-3), lunch breaks included.
If you want to step up the game and do a multi-day Salza trip go here.
Life jackets, helmets, wetsuits and river boots are included.
